Hell Ya...WARPAINT

Undertow Lyrics
Your brown eyes are my blue skies.
They light up the river that the birds fly over.
Better not to quench your thirst.
Better not to be the first one diving in,
though you caught me and you know why
they breathe in the deepest part of the water
What’s the matter? You hurt yourself? Open your eyes and there was someone else?
Now i’ve got you in the undertow.
Now i’ve got you in the undertow.
Why you wanna blame me for your troubles?
Ah ah ah you better learn your lesson yourself.
Nobody ever has to find out what’s in my mind tonight.
Let tonight pass us by.
Do you really want to be the one to fight?
And i said “You’re better not to light that fire.
It will take you to the darkest part of the weather.”
What’s the matter? You hurt yourself?
Opened your eyes and there was someone else?
Now i’ve got you in the undertow.
Now i’ve got you in the undertow.
Why you wanna blame me for your troubles?
Ah ah ah you better learn your lesson yourself.
Nobody ever has to find out what’s in my mind tonight.
Nobody ever has to find out what’s in my mind tonight.
Nobody in my mind. Nobody in my mind.
I feel it in my heart tonight.
I laid on the floor pressing in my eyes.
Seeing little lights.
These are the decisions that only one could make
I wanted to stay home but i went running running running running from the troubles
runningrunningrunningrunningrunningrunni ngrunning
What’s the matter? You hurt yourself?
Opened your eyes and there was someone else?
Now i’ve got you in the undertow
Now i’ve got you so
why you wanna blame me for your troubles?
Ah ah ah you better learn your lesson yourself.
Nobody ever has to find out what’s in my mind tonight.
Nobody ever has to find out what’s in my mind tonight.

Ambulances with Sirens Barreling Up & Down My Street Make it Nearly Impossible to Sleep...

I would smoke a cigarette right now if i had not already quit....

i found a poem on New Years Eve, one of my worst night's to date.... the "Holidays" do not become me, they are the wrong shade for my skin tone....I digress.... back to the poem.... the poem....
its point was as poignant as the tip of an arrow and it hit me like a drum.
I will share it with you now:

'Time does not bring relief; you all have lied
Who told me time would ease me of my pain!
  I miss him in the weeping of the rain;
I want him at the shrinking of the tide;
The old snows melt from every mountain-side,
  And last year's leaves are smoke in every lane;
But last year's bitter loving must remain
Heaped on my heart, and my old thoughts abide!
There are a hundred places where I fear
To go, -- so with his memory they brim!
And entering with relief some quiet place
Where never fell his foot or shone his face
I say, "There is no memory of him here!"
And so stand stricken, so remembering him!?

- Edna St. Vincent Millay

You Can Murder Someone Without Ending Their Life.

Oh Polly, Pretty Polly, would you take me unkind
Polly, Pretty Polly, would you take me unkind
Let me set beside you and tell you my mind

Well my mind is to marry and never to part
My mind is to marry and never to part
The first time I saw you it wounded my heart

Oh Polly Pretty Polly come go along with me
Polly Pretty Polly come go along with me
Before we get married some pleasures to see

Oh he led her over mountains and valleys so deep
He led her over hills and valleys so deep
Pretty Polly mistrusted and then began to weep

Oh Willie, Little Willie, I'm afraid to of your ways
Willie, Little Willie, I'm afraid of your ways

The way you've been rambling you'll lead me astray

Oh Polly, Pretty Polly, your guess is about right
Polly, Pretty Polly, your guess is about right
I dug on your grave the biggest part of last night

Oh she knelt down before him a pleading for her life
She knelt down before him a pleading for her life
Let me be a single girl if I can't be your wife

Oh Polly, Pretty Polly that never can be
Polly, Pretty Polly that never can be
Your past reputation's been trouble to me

He opened up her busom, as white as any snow.
He opened up her busom, as white as any snow.
He stabbed her through the heart,
and the blood did overflow.

Oh went down to the jailhouse and what did he say
He went down to the jailhouse and what did he say
I've killed Pretty Polly and trying to get away

Brianne and i wrote a murder ballad & played it for the first time on Saturday

These are most likely the most simplistic and repetitive lyrics I have penned to date
but also the truest and possible most personal....

"six feet underneath the ground"

Im in love with the ghost of the person meant for me
But Im trying, Lord I'm trying, I am fighting to be free

Ill bury you
Ill bury you
Ill bury you
Ill bury you
Ill bury you
Ill bury you... and run
Ill bury you
Ill bury you
Ill bury you
I WILL bury you and run

I would own your soul
I would own your soul
If you only, had one left to give
I would own your soul
I WOULD OWN your soul
If you only had one left

& guilt she's been your killer
so dead you have become
Ill bury you
Ill bury you
Ill bury you
I will bury you
Ill bury you and run

Its time to let you go now
your heart is 6 feet under
its time to LET YOU GO
